It really hasn't been that long since we've updated, only the portfolio section has received the love, while
this news section has been dormant. A few backups were erased, so the last news we have listed is for late 2004.
But that's ok, we're still here.

Even though there was a specific reason for not updating this site for over 2 months, something needs to be
posted now. We are currently finishing GlassHeartedSoldier.com, CopiousMusic.com, DiscSpot.com, TheWorldofOutlaws.com,
LastExitOnline, NextLevelRecordingStudios.com, JohnnyReliable.com, & SoccerWorldInc.com
TMP Radio has been finished and running for a nearly two months now on a server here in the back room of the
makeshift SWD office.
Due to the high volume of business, and lack of adequate help, SWD is currently having to turn away clients
for the next few weeks as we finish up and sort things out. After that, we will be able to once again offer you
affordable rates and better products as we extend our staff to include more programmers and graphic designers.
Following this period, we will be taking a new direction in our business, focusing on different forms of web
scripting and programming, as well as more hardware-based projects, including small business operating system
integration and solutions. More direction for the upcoming year include Home Automation, Computer Consultation &
Repair, Home and business networking packages and service.
With this will come a new SWD website.

Revamping some things on TulsaMusicPulse.com while business proceeds as normal.
Sites in progress include: GlassHeartedSoldier.com, DarelJunior.com, DiscSpot.com, LastExitOnline.com, and
we will be resurrecting LocalHarcore.net in some fashion.
Bios will soon be added for the staff here at SWD. We have also updated our products page to include our latest
offerings - link.

SWD welcomes our newest member and friend onboard - Leif West of WrecklessProcess.
Leif will be handling some of the interface and graphic design load, as well as
consultation and promotion.
Work continues on DiscSpot.com and LastExitOnline.com, but has ceased on TheTokyoSmash.com
- it has been released permanantly by SWD. Work is underway on GlassHeartedSoldier.com,
okcmusicpulse.com, dareljunior.com, and the Tulsa Music Monthly (TMM) section of
TulsaMusicPulse.com
Contacts include the bands COPIOUS and No Ones Slave(NOS), as well as CarowayBand.com and
Kingston Falls.

As flattering as it may sound, it was recently brought to my attention that a
"competitor" design firm here in town has ripped off our portfolio format here
on SWD. That in mind, we have completely revamped it, and are about to add the two
sites that we are currently finishing - www.WrecklessProcess.com and www.HotrodbobMusic.com
After that, work will begin on DiscSpot.com, then onto ShutupRecords.net,
www.TheTokyoSmash.com, www.CarowayBand.com

The levity was brief. Webwork commences with additions to the portfolio of sites
from personal best friends: www.HotrodboBmusic.com and www.WrecklessProcess.com,;
both sites are takeovers, transfers, and complete rebuilds.

Today was free cookie day at Subway. Very important.
Also important is two new sites being added; ThePinkeye.com was hastily added to the
internet to serve as an informational portal for the new Tulsa venue and home to
Spiffco Web Designs headquarters. Also online(but not in portfolio) is DiscSpot.com,
a local Disc Golfer and fellow entrepreneur. The site will be both informational and
e-commerce based.

EpiphanyArtists.com added to portfolio today. There has been a noticeable lack of
updates to this homepage, but this doesn't indicate a lack of business by any means.
TulsaMusicPulse.com is currently doing benefit shows for The American Cancer Society
and The Cancer Sucks Foundation, as well as the usual TMP Roadshows, and another festival
for this summer.
Began adding clients to HonestPretzels.com last week, product inventory is currently low,
but at least the majority of bugs have been worked out to where we are confident to
bring in 3rd party merchants and vendors.
Other sites in progress and planning include: continual work on EpiphanyArtists.com and ColdSumr.com,
new WrecklessProcess.com and HotrodboBmusic.com, and in the near future, Torchman.com for
Torchman Audio/Visual in Glenpool. The biggest news as of late is Spiffco's new office
located in the Pinkeye venue in downtown Tulsa. The Pinkeye has already had a handful of
shows, and will house partial booking for TMP as well as headquarters for both TMP
and Spiffco, and of course the venue website, which is up next.

added UticaMusic.com to portfolio. the site started out as a take-over from an
unreliable host, and has turned into a full blown project with mailing list and
a news/shows admin system. this site is also using a new mailing list software
that isn't MySQL driven, only PHP scripts. the test will be to see if it can
handle larger lists.
sales are already being generated on HonestPretzels.com, EpiphanyArtists.com is
back and forth and back between layouts, and Hotrodbobmusic.com has remote forums.

added HonestPretzels.com to portfolio. HP is an online merchandise outlet for
local and regional bands as well as ticket sales to local and regional shows.
When completed, It will be scalable to add client accounts for individual bands and
promoters to add and administer their products via a web interface/control panel.
also working to transfer all domains to the same hosting provider while performing
some housecleaning duties. contemplating TulsaMusicPulse Listener Supported rebuild
as well as Spiffco.com v2 or so.

we are moving to a new hosting provider beginning today, so as i write this message,
www.spiffco.com is not resolving, and users are greeted with a nasty error that makes
it appear as though i haven't paid my hosting dues. this of course couldn't be further
from the truth.
HonestPretzels is nearing completion, with only minor adjustments and merchant account
setup left. This site quite possibly will end up scaling up to much larger preportions
that we had previously planned. also currently hammering on EpiphanyArtists.com and
ShutupRecords.net on behalf of Epiphany Artist Management out of Tulsa, while
communication has also resumed between us and the band ColdSumr, which is why they will
be added to our portfolio today, there is no word yet to what the final look of the
site will be, there may be another renovation to come.
Latest project added as an overhaul is HotrodboBmusic.com, while there are discussions
brewing about possible dealings with DDSmusic.com, but nothing confirmed as of yet.
sites and projects that are still in negotation stages are MerkabaBand.com,
RockEyerate.com and UticaMusic.com, which is currently being hosted with us.

designated new sections for projects, band specific sites, and archived sites for older
and 3rd-party sites are being made.
the management, design and upkeep of both thedealonwheels.com and thewheelconnection.com
have gone so far beyond ridiculous, that it was time to remove them from our portfolio.
in no way do we condone or endorse the service that is being provided by the staff of
those respective businesses.
Also, we officially signed contracts for Epiphany Artist Management & Shutup Records sites.
Added Halo-Records.com to hosting account along with TheWeepingTree.com and
TheUnreliables.com

GoToPel.com finally added to portfolio. Although the site is 95% complete with the absence
of the flash intro, it should be completed by this weekend. GoToPel utilizes Splog v1.0,
our near-complete band blog/template/news admin system. Once this software becomes more
user-friendly, it will be available for download here with install documentation and forum
support.
HonestPretzels.com will be finished in time for the due date of February 1.

GlenStrain.com added to portfolio. Both FidoshockMusic.com and TheCaveRocksTulsa.com have
been terminated; Fidoshock dismembered and The Cave closed its doors on December 6. Both of
these domains are being routed to point to either TMP or Spiffco, haven't decided at this
point. Both UticaMusic.com and TheUnreliables.com are being hosted with Spiffco, with
redevelopment deals soon to be negotiated.
Current sites still in progress: UticaMusic.com, ColdSumr.com, GoToPel.com revamp,
Torchman Audio/Visual, HonestPretzels.com(project due date Feb1). New jobs that have been
landed but not planned out: RockEyerate.com, MerkabaBand.com.
Jobs that got away on grounds of poor relations: Lone Wolfe Productions and H&A ShirtCafe.
Projects out of curiosity: ToyotaTacoma.org, HiteshewHardwood.com, HonestPretzels.com.
Finally, the validation link to w3c has been removed from our pages due to the fact that
the PHP/MySQL news and portfolio systems caused many many errors with the
XHTML 1.1 validation.

FidoshockMusic.com added to portfolio just now. This site is the first guinea pig of our
PHP Template System that allows administration of dynamic news listings via a control panel
complete with password-protected entry with secure logins, easily configured themed templates,
and built-in page view counters. Future additions to this package include IP tracking,
RSS broadcasting, more themes, easier configuration via packaged downloads, and (of course)
software documentation and tutorials. This software will be available for 3rd party download
and usage after it grows out of beta stages.

Currently working on a template system for band websites including both Eyerate, Fidoshock,
and PEL.
Other projects include RSS plugins for individual sites, interactive Flash interface for H&A Shirtcafe,
internet radio, mp3 hosting & streaming for TMP Listener Supported, and RealAudio streaming for
Lone Wolfe Music Productions.
Still no DOCTYPE on pages, but validation is a 'go'.
