    Fay L. Hitechew, 71, Sugar Tree Road, Central City, died April 3, 1998 at
  Lee Hospital.  Born Aug. 25, 1926 in Central City, daughter of George and
  Ellen (Logue) Hitechew.  Preceded in death by parents, 3 brothers and 3
  sisters.  Sister of Ila Shaffer, Central City, and Lois Pizer of Indiana,
  Pa.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Self-employed
  seamstress along with her sister Blanche Long for many years.  Volunteered
  at Somerset Blind Center.  Member of Unity United Church of Christ.  Family
  will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, at
  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Viewing from 9 a.m. until service at 10
  a.m., Wednesday, at Unity United Church of Christ, Rev. Jay E. Shaffer. 
  Interment, Glade Cemetery.
