LONG

  Blanche E. Long, 70, of Central City, RD 1 died Aug. 1, 1989 at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born May 29, 1919 in Central City, daughter of
  George and Ellen (Logue) Hitechew.  Preceded in death by parents;
  husband, Robert G.; three brothers and a sister.  Survived by these
  children: Mrs. Glenn (Roberta) Browning, Manassas, Va.; Bobbie and
  Kristin Long.  She was a sister of Effie Hitechew of Johnstown; Ila
  Shaffer of Central City; Lois Pizer of Indiana; and Fay Hitechew of
  Central City, RD 1.  She was a self-employed seamstress.  Member of
  Unity United Church of Christ.  Family will receive friends from 2-4
  p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home Stoystown, where
  services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. David L. Meyer
  officiating.  Interment Glades Cemetery.
